After time on the beach I’d suggest you head back to the Goolwa beach carpark and visit the Kuti Shack perched on the dunes, to try pipis cooked by the experts. Beautiful food, great view, amazing staff Just left Kuti Shack after a delicious lunch which included lobster and prawn fried rice, chorizo croquettes, wines and coffee. The food was delicious, the view amazing. But what really topped it off was the wonderful staff and their friendliness. The Kuti Shack is an exciting initiative that brings together a fishing company, their commercial partners, the Ngarrindjeri people and three Fleurieu-based chefs who have been talking about partnering in business for a number of years. With a prime location on the beachfront at Goolwa and opening just in time for the summer holidays, Kuti Shack is a new café that brings together three Fleurieu chefs and will champion local seafood and native indigenous ingredients.
